These include capabilities to satisfy High Power/High Voltage designs, Radio Frequency, Low Noise (EMI optimized) designs and a wide variety of other Electro-Mechanical assembly requirements. These solutions can also be designed with a variety of mounting options, as well as full encapsulation in order to ensure no failure operability in extreme environmental conditions. All of these variations are produced to exacting standards and work processes developed through years of experience in manufacturing to stringent military and ISO 9001 specifications.

Combined with four decades of experience as a manufacturer of electromagnetic products we have continuously refined our systems and capabilities to ensure adherence to this high quality standard in every stage of our process. From review and feasibility assessments of initial customer drawings, through to prototyping and ongoing manufacturing.

ITAR

Noreast is ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliant through certification under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).

In order to strengthen the Canada/U.S. agreement on defense trade controls, ITAR has officially recognized Canadian organizations with a Canadian CGP (Controlled Goods Program) registration under the ITAR agreement (part 126 section 126.5 –  Canadian exemption of the e-CFR)

Canadian Controlled Goods Member

The Controlled Goods Program (CGP) was created in 2001 for organizations that need to examine, possess or transfer controlled goods in Canada. A CGP registered organization is regularly checked for compliance with the regulations in order to maintain its active status. The CGP designation is administered by the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

IPC

The Institute for Printed Circuits (IPC) (now called the Association Connecting Electronics Industries) is a trade association whose aim is to standardize the assembly and production requirements of electronic equipment and assemblies.

Under these guidelines Noreast has 100% of production personnel trained and certified in the following specialties:

-IPC-A-610F Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies

-IPC/WHMA-A-620B Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
